Supported Independent Living (SIL)

We provide accommodation and 24/7 support under our supported independent living program, based on a recovery and person-centered model of care, encouraging participants to have choice and control in their lives. While receiving day to day support with care needs, we encourage participants to attend other social groups and activities, maintaining connections in the community and establishing a fulfilling life.

We are careful in selecting a small and consistent group of staff to work with participants, ensuring familiarity and continuity of care. Each house has a dedicated key worker who will assist in case management, in consultation with the support coordinator. ALC management have a strong presence in the SIL houses, visiting regularly and providing specialist support when required.
